When you take a step and think about what you would need to buy to make money as a craft marketer, you are likely to get several answers to this question. However, when you focus a little more on the “why”, you may find yourself with several very valid questions of your own.
Why You Are a Craftmarketing Expert
There are many reasons why you may choose to make money by selling, crafting, or selling supplies to your customers. Some people are born with that particular skill set, while others have to be taught a trade. You may find that what you are after is something that you are naturally skilled at, something that your parents (or any expert you see) tell you you are.
This does not mean that you are a “craftmaster”, but rather, a “craftgiver”. However, there is a difference.
By choosing to use the word “craft” and be part of the craft marketplace, you also create many potential opportunities for the business you are creating. Whether it is in the form of business partners, a “designer” or just a “designer person” that sells your products via the marketplace, you can still create your own market in a similar way that making money as an expert does.
In this regard, crafting is a lot less complicated as you do not have to be a doctor to be considered a pro. You are more limited in certain ways than you would be if you were to start your own small business, but you will still be able to find a lot of things you need when you do so.
One more advantage of being craft is that you can be paid on an hourly basis. When someone is making a living with a craft, they need a certain amount of capital to get started, since in order to be able to do anything at all, they need to invest at least some of that capital.
When this is not the case by the time they start their first business, they are pretty much out of luck. The exception will probably be those that are doing the opposite of what you would want them to do.
If you know someone who would love to do something that you could help them out with, but is too afraid of “going too big” by starting up their first business, then perhaps you could offer them a job on the marketplace.
