How many strings should you play on a ukulele? – I play a range of strings, from G7 to D8, but I find there are a few that are more suitable for a certain tuning than others. For example I play an acoustic guitar, which makes me play an acoustic F string, which is the lowest D string on a guitar, but when you’re playing a ukulele, you’re playing what’s called a ‘bend’. Basically, when my fingers are touching the strings of the ukulele it’s bend, so there’s just more room for your fingers and fingers are more comfortable that way.
What should I look out for when buying a ukulele? – The best ukulele is probably one that comes with your own personal ‘kit’ of ukuleles so you don’t have to deal with buying new ones when they get old and you won’t ever be tempted to buy an older ukulele. You’ll find that we use the highest quality woods such as mahogany, oak and maple and we use only the highest quality metal parts, be it the pickups, neck or bodies as the only component that is made in a factory is always used in the final product. Also the ukulele string has to be constructed to our specifications that match our body style to ensure sound quality.
