12. Do you think all your other musical ideas are good? Well yes but I don’t think they’re very good. I’d like to think. I’ve got a lot of ideas, but I’d like to think I’ve got some pretty good ideas. I’ve got an idea for an album. I would love to do it though. The other day, I was listening to the song ‘Luv You’ and what struck me was their guitar technique. It’s pretty cool. So if I do come up with something that sounds cool, I’d love to do it.
MUMBAI: Is there the potential for some collaborations?
I would love to.
MOM: Have you done any songs for me in the past?
No…
MUMBAI: What are you doing with your time at the moment?
I’m concentrating on my future.
JEWEL: You did a solo album last year.
Yes I did, yes I did.
JEWEL: You’re a very hard-working person for doing that.
Yeah I am.
JEWEL: That was an album which I’ve been trying to get from you for a long time now.
Yes it is.
JEWEL: What was it made of?
A lot of songs, I was playing them to a friend recently and I don’t like them all that much and I could probably still make a better one from them.
MOM: I don’t know you very well so I haven’t got you to talk about that.
Yeah, well, I’m hoping I get to do it.
MOM: Do you think the fact that you’re trying so hard on this project (which has its own music video) will help it come together? Or is it more about the fact that you seem to have got it all together and are working on it in your own home?
Well I hope it’s the first, I hope I can make some of it (laughs)
MOM: Are you going to do any more concerts?
Well I don’t know. If I do have to (laughs) I have more chances than I realise.
