One of my favorite parts of building the SBCE project, was creating a design with a clear goal… I want a large, easy to clean and store place to keep my supplies on site.
Today I made an important step… I can now create a “POD” design. This will allow me to keep my kit and supplies in one place.

There are three basic parts:

The Frame
First, I cut off my wood frame and made a square.
Next, I glued the frame together and added 2″ PVC pipe.
I also nailed 2″ PVC pipe to the base of the POD frame.
Then added two pieces of Balsa Blocks, 1′ long on the sides.
I also added two 1″ x 10″ POD rails that slide along the top of the frame.
To make the H.R.P. POD/frame, I took my 8″ piece of PVC pipe and drilled one 16″ hole that will attach to the PVC pipe.
Then I attached my PVC Rail to the side of the frame with 2″ PVC pipes.
Then I attached all four rails to the bottom of the frame with 2″ PVC pipes.
