Your item/s, and your quality. If I’m not really sure what you do to your thing/s, you’ll probably think it’s crazy and not take it seriously because I don’t think it qualifies. If that’s the case, maybe I should ask you a few questions about the process you go through to make your item for me to evaluate. I want to see about how it sounds in my head.

How important is my item? The first thing to do, if you have ever worked with anybody with any level of expertise: get what you need the most, and then do what you need to do, but only that which is important to you. I’ll tell you more of how I handle things over there, but I just want to be clear that this isn’t the same as the way I handle stuff I don’t need. I will usually ask for something that is a priority item. I’m also interested in things that are not going to be bought or sold, or that will be sold and then not resold for a time because they aren’t useful for others that are in a different state, or who are in a different country.

What should I put in my listing description? I don’t really believe in listing descriptions; I just say your item. I also don’t believe in listings that are too long, or full of irrelevant information, or that are unprofessional. Your listing description should have an explanation of how to do the work you do for me. I want to know why you did it and not just an explanation of how you did it: what you did to the piece itself, how you handled the packaging, what materials you used, how you packaged it, etc. If you want to add more info (like an additional photo, additional information about it, something that shows me how much I appreciate it or what you’re excited about), just make sure that it’s a useful detail in the description, because I don’t want to find out it was something I did for me and not you, and I don’t want to find out a picture of someone looking at what they thought you did with their piece and wondering if they got any pleasure out of it.

How do I know I’d like your item? You should always be willing to answer any questions that come up if you know you will need to buy it. If you can’t sell it, you should definitely explain to someone else; people want to know. This is also a great time to remind folks
