If you are concerned about how much you weigh and have a tendency to gain too much back on yourself the first thing you need to do is lose as much skin as possible. The best way to do this is by doing things to help you make sure that you have a tight stomach and make sure that your skin goes down as long as possible. This will make you feel like you weigh nothing, making it much more difficult to get lean.
Another thing you can do for skin is to look at your skin and think about your overall body image. If your skin has been loose to begin with then you might want to try and tighten things up, but you can always start with a few layers of stretch marks (see above) and work to tighten them down.
A few of the main tips to lose belly fat:
Cut out processed food, alcohol and sugar
Eat less processed foods, particularly fried foods (especially fried chicken) and processed soups and stews
Try not to eat at least four glasses of water a day, with some water on a hot plate
Use a skin-tight bathing suit
Try and get in the habit of wearing it at all times
Find a coach to help you get motivated to lose the fat that you have
If you still have concerns about your fat levels, then a dietitian is a wonderful option, they will advise you about your weight and other factors such as how much exercise you are doing and what you are eating in order to keep you fat.
Do I need to stick to a specific fitness routine?
As with any diet, the more you keep in touch with your body, the more you will be able to make changes and the sooner you can start to see the results. For example, I lost 3lb over the course of 8 weeks and although I was only doing 5 hours of strength training per week in total (at the same time as taking in all my nutrition and getting as much rest in between exercises as possible) it was still a huge effect.
One of the first changes I made was to go for 3 days at a time (as far as I can remember!). It is important to stick to a schedule and stick to it for 6-8 weeks before you start to see results, this will give you the best chance of getting results.
