If you already have a boiler, then we will provide you with a boiler replacement loan. There is a $70 non-refundable fee for this loan, but the loan is repaid with no fee from British Gas (you will not be charged for a boiler replacement loan).
To qualify for a boiler replacement loan, you must:
Be in a boiler repair situation
Have an eligible replacement boiler
Have an eligible local service
Have a current boiler repair contract;
Be enrolled in a boiler repair support scheme for boiler repairs; and,
Have a current boiler repair fee of $70.00. This fee is paid through the Customer Payment Program, so we can offer you a boiler replacement loan.
If you are not, you may still be eligible to apply for a replacement boiler, just follow the steps below in order to apply.
Step 1: Get a boiler repair contract with a boiler repair support scheme for boiler repairs.
Find a boiler repair support scheme and view the details on the back of the boiler you already own.
If you no longer have a boiler you will have to pay a new boiler repair fee in order to repair it.
If you are not a boiler repairs support scheme member, please contact the customer service centre in your area.
Step 2: Apply for a boiler replacement loan using the Customer Payment Program.
The Customer Payment Program is available and we will ask you questions about your boiler repair situation. Find your nearest customer payment centre and get your boiler replacement loan from there.
If you are in a situation where you cannot get a boiler repair by yourself and need a replacement boiler, call us on 116 011 or email us.
Step 3: Apply for a boiler replacement loan using the Community Services and Support Loan.
If you have a local boiler repair support scheme, you can get a local boiler repair support loan from the Community Services and Support Loan.
