1 semitone. Let’s not get too hung up on what is a half step and what isn’t a half step. But the idea here is this. We can divide and Conquer. Not one person can tell someone else about a problem you have. No one. Period. No-one. We are all equal. Everyone, including you, can have the exact same problem at some point in their lives. Everyone. But there is a limit to where you are going to be on some things so no matter how good you are at them, it isn’t going to reach over a quarter-step or two and you may never get a quarter-step or two until you reach certain circumstances such as a career success or getting a job you really like. In many cases it could be much more. Or as in this case, it could be way down on one thing but then jump on the next thing. Or maybe I will get to that point in a minute. But I don’t need to go any further. A couple of hours from now I will have made that point. I might go on to talk about the importance of this concept of 1 semitone. Not one person can tell someone else about a problem, or even better than tell someone else that they want to go help you find that person but you don’t quite have the connections you need to make this happen. That is OK too. It is not something you need all the time but you definitely DO need this to be something you can have a say in.
