Noah, an experienced waterproofer, designed a system of sails with four pairs of sails and a single sail set above and below the boat on the ark. They were designed to be used on dry land in order to prevent moisture from building up around its sail and thus reducing its buoyancy.
The sail system was actually a series of large, long cables which were strung on the boat’s lower deck to reduce drag. Noah also added a second set of small sails, just in case he couldn’t use all the sails in the second row.
The ark was designed to last about 600 years but it was built and sailed for 400 years.
Where did Noah get his inspiration to build the ark?
Noah was inspired to build the ark when he learned of a great deal of historical documentation regarding the construction of the great edifice which stood in the land of Egypt. Some of the documents contained descriptions of how the ships were constructed and even used on shore. Noah decided to see if he could replicate the structure if he could come up with a design that would work for his Ark. His designs were ultimately successful. Noah’s ark was built over 6,000 years ago during the late Pleistocene (about 12,000 years ago). During the excavation, archaeologists uncovered evidence of how Noah built and operated the ark and there were several different types of materials used in the ark. During the construction of the ark, the ark was essentially designed with a roof in order to keep the moisture outside of the structure and keep it from evaporating.
What do the seals mean?
The seals on the ark are the remains of the seals of the ancient Egyptian priesthood. Each seal contains five distinct symbols in order to identify which symbol represents “the god” of the seal. These four seals, along with the four cherubic designs (representing water and flood), were used for thousands of years and were the most frequently seen symbols on the ark.
The symbol for the god Horus, for instance, is located on a seal that features a seal that was used to seal the Ark which was recovered from the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The symbol for the goddess Ptah, representing the earth or nature, is located on a seal that was used in order to seal the ark that was recovered by the Philistines (Israelites). The symbol for Geb, representing the flood, is located on a seal that was used because
